SNACK BAR DESIGN

This post will show all of you step-by-step how I edit a snack bar. I chose to create a snack bar which is related to my culture. It is because I would love to promote my culture and I feel familiarised with my own root. Hence, I came up with spicy Thai chocolate bar which is the fusion of Thai and western culture. I hope all of you enjoy my design.

First and foremost, I chose the photo from the copyright free image as I would like to create a snack bar packaging which is made of sugar cane paper . I use adobe illustrator and open the downloaded image.

I adjust the shape of the sugar cane paper by expanding it.Then. I add two circles by inserting circular shape and add the red hot and orange colour. it is because these two colour are not only bright but also represent hotness and spiciness 

I search for ideal mock up for the packaging on google.

                                           Then, I used the crop tool for the one I want.

 After that, I design the logo. I use big word of Spicy to emphasise the taste of the snack and the word is in curve form to make it less formal . I also add Thai flag to show Thailand. I created the flag by using shape form as well and add the colour choosing from the given palette. I decided to add the fading yellow colour by reducing opacity.It is to make it less outstanding. I added the word NEW to attract customers attention that it is a new product in the market

                            After that, I typed the information about the weight.  I personally happy with the outcome as it is simple. I may want to add photos of chocolate bars to. represent chocolate. I have to further study about how I can insert my design on the mock up. In the next post, I will update about it. Moreover, I should try another design and compare which one I like more.
